International English for Call Centres book wins ‘Highly Commended’ award in English Speaking Union competition.
Authors Barry Tomalin and Suhashini Thomas, together with a representative from Macmillan Publishers, will be at Buckingham Palace on November 12th to receive the award from HRH the Duke of Edinburgh for their book, International English for Call Centres.
The book and accompanying CD offer help to call centre representatives and others dealing with UK business in how to adapt their pronunciation, stress and intonation to match the style of British customers.
