Training teenagers to teach English

Last week IH London CELTA trainer Catriona gave up teaching adults for the day to show a group of twelve teenagers how to teach English.

The teenagers were from St Marylebone School in London and they are all fluent in more than one language.

They are preparing to teach English to local primary school children and to parents of pupils at their school - both of which are voluntary projects organised by their school.

Catriona had one day to show the teenagers how to control a classroom, how to set up activities, and how to deal with student errors. It was an action-packed day!
