IH London student shows film at Cannes Film Festival 2016

One of our current IH London students, Yan Zhang, showed her film 'The Flavor of the Moon' at this year's Cannes Film Festival 2016.

Yan's film was shown in the short film section of the Cannes Film Festival 2016. 

The Director's interpretation of the film is as follows: 'The moon is a metaphor for desire. I try to tell a surreal story in this film through the events triggered by the moon. The story has no clear time background. In the shadow of legend of the moon, everyone pursues the moon with different methods because they have different characters. Some use force, some use money, and some utilize others to achieve different interests. Through the direct needs that different people desire, I want to cause the audience's reflection of human weaknesses through the naked presentation of different people's desires.'
