Social Programme visits London landmarks
The Social Programme recently enjoyed trips to the historical Houses of Parliament and The British Library in London.
On the House of Parliament trip students were able to take a self-guided audio tour through the House of Lords and House of Commons. Highlights of the tour included Westminster Hall, the Royal Gallery and St Stephen’s Hall.
On the 10th August our students visited The British Library, which is the national library of the UK and the largest library in the world by number of items catalogued. The group visited the current exhibition 'Shakespeare in ten acts', and had the chance to learn about the history of Shakespeare, view handwritten works by Shakespeare and re-create one of Shakespeare's famous plays.
The Social Programme is a great way to learn and practise your English outside the classroom.
