Every student is asked to submit a needs analysis before joining their course so the contents can be adapted to ensure your objectives are being met.  This tailored approach to teaching means you can focus on aspects of your business most important to you whilst developing your communicative ability.  Who we are 

Our story began in 1953 when John Haycraft (CBE) and his wife Brita Haycraft started a school, because they believed in intercultural understanding through language learning. We have continued their mission and changed people’s lives through language for over 65 years. 

International House London is a charitable education trust and we reinvest profits to improve the learning experience for our customers. 

Our accreditation 

Our Executive Centre and courses are accredited by the British Council. The British Council assess the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching, welfare, and safeguarding under 18s, and we met the criteria in all areas. 

The British Council noted particular strengths in the areas of strategic and quality management, staff management, student administration, premises and facilities, learning resources, course design, care of students, leisure opportunities, and safeguarding under 18s. 

Our location: 

Located in London’s Covent Garden, IH London is conveniently situated for students and professionals alike. In just a short tube ride you’re able to reach London’s business hubs including our financial district and east London’s Silicon Roundabout. With the launch of Crossrail our school will be within 20 mins travel from Heathrow airport and Eurostar passengers are within 10mins from St. Pancras International.
