From new movie releases and world-class musicals to stunning markets and winter attractions, London has something for everyone this month. Here’s our guide to the top five things to do in London in November:
1. Celebrate the New Paddington Bear Film (From 8th November)
Britain’s most beloved bear is back! Watch Paddington in Peru at the Odeon in Leicester Square, which is only 10 minutes away from our school, from the 8th of November. After the film, explore iconic Paddington locations around the city, including the Paddington statue in the station, the vibrant mural at South Bank’s Sutton Walk and the home of the Brown Family (32 Windsor Gardens in Notting Hill).

2. Sing Along to The Devil Wears Prada Musical
Dive into the fashionable world of The Devil Wears Prada musical, which has original music written by Elton John. Adapted from the film with Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway, this new West End production brings the classic story of ambition and glamour to life, with lots of great songs and humour. 3. Get Ready for Christmas at Winter Wonderland (21st November – 5th January)
Christmas is fast approaching, and there’s no better way to get into the festive spirit than by going to Winter Wonderland. This must-visit festival in Hyde Park features thrilling fairground rides, enchanting shows, and the UK’s largest outdoor ice rink. From the mesmerizing Magical Ice Kingdom to the cozy Bavarian Village with its bratwurst and mulled wine, Winter Wonderland has something for everyone. Usually, entry is £5 but students can go for free with our Social Programme on November 22nd!

4. Wholesome Festive Activities at Marylebone Christmas Market (13th November)
Get into the holiday spirit with a trip to Marylebone Village for their annual Merry Marylebone event, which includes the magical Christmas lights switch-on, live music, and artisanal market stalls. Enjoy festive street food, shop for unique gifts for loved ones, and join in the evening’s festive activities, like wreath-making workshops and a visit to Santa’s Grotto. Our Social Programme will be taking a group to the market, so make sure to come along for wholesome wintry activities!
5. Autumnal Walks in London’s Most Scenic Spots
Take in the last of autumn’s golden leaves with scenic walks through Hyde Park, Richmond Park, or Regent’s Park. London’s parks are filled with vibrant autumn colours, making it the ideal time for a peaceful, crisp stroll before winter fully sets in. Every week, our Social Programme organizes walking tours to these parks where you can appreciate London’s natural beauty with new friends.
