Jinjuu means pearl in Korean, which is fitting given that this authentic restaurant is a real gem. This modern Korean bar and restaurant in the heart of London prides itself on its seasonal menu with a fusion of traditional and contemporary dishes. The vibe is immaculate and lively, making the culinary experience even more memorable. On The Bab
These unpretentious Korean street food joints can be found in Shoreditch and by St Paul’s, and offers some of the most finger lickin’ Korean Fried Chicken in the city. The bao buns and bibimbaps are also worth trying, but for us the special fried chicken options are out of this world. The interior and restaurant may not be the most Instagrammable, but the food is what makes this place so memorable.

Back in Central London, it can be argued that Koba is the best place for Korean table BBQ. The place has real SEOUL (excuse the pun) and a trendy interior which fits in with the modern twist of traditional classics. BiBimBap is a local favourite in Soho, and you’ll never guess what their speciality is… BiBimBap! As name suggests, the restaurant undeniably offers the best and most extensive range of bibimbaps in London along with delicious noodles, rice dishes, tasty soups and cult classics like jap chae, chilli squid and tteokbokki. BiBimBap is just a stone’s throw away from our school in Covent Garden, so make sure to visit if you’re feeling hungry and are in the area.
