For our younger learners, aged 8-11, to learn and improve their English and enjoy a range of summer activities
This is the perfect course to help young people gain skills and confidence in using English, whilst having a lot of fun with new friends from all over the world.
The course is suitable for all English levels. (Your child will be in a class with students of a similar level)
The minimum age is 8, or 7 if in the same school year as 8 year olds.

At our summer school in Ellesmere there is an 8-11 year old only junior school on campus.
In our Frensham school our youngest learners have their own boarding house.
Course summary
English lessons take place every morning, and in the afternoon students can choose from a number of sports and arts activities. Sports can include football and swimming. Arts activities can include t-shirt painting, sketching, and performance arts. There is also one full-day and one half-day trip every week. Students practise their English inside and outside of the classroom, for the best learning experience.
Lessons are based on topics, with new themes every week.

Course content
Students follow a daily programme of 15 hours of English language lessons in the morning, while afternoons are devoted to pursuing exciting activities with new friends.
During the afternoon students can choose from a number of sports and arts activities, with something for everyone. Sports can include tennis, football, basketball and swimming. Arts activities can include t-shirt painting, sketching, and performance arts.
Study trips are also a big part of the course, with one full-day and one half-day trip to places of interest in the UK included every week.
Students practise their English inside and outside of the classroom, for the best learning experience.
