Greek Level 1 is a Beginners Greek course for students who have never studied the Greek language before.
Lessons take place once a week.
Course Content
Communication aims
– Greeting people
– Introducing yourself and someone else
– Asking and giving personal details
– Possible answers for “how are you”
Linguistic aims
– Alphabet – Sounds (Phonetics)
– Articles (definite & indefinite)
– Three genders
– Personal pronouns
– Verb to be (είµαι)
– Vocative
– Vocabulary:
- Countries & Towns
- Numbers 0 – 10
*Coursebooks are to be purchased after the first lesson and are required for the course. Books will be available to purchase from reception on the day of your second lesson.
