Our courses help you use French in everyday situations, while building core skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

By the end of your course, you should be able to: 

  • Understand and explain recipes, name dishes and ingredients, give cooking instructions, tell past stories, and invite or respond to invitations 
  • Use prepositions à and de, express precise quantities, and conjugate mettre in present tense 
  • Apply direct object pronouns (le, la, les), passé composé with pronominal verbs, and the imperfect tense (c’était, il y avait…) 
  • Use complement pronouns (me, te, nous, vous, lui, leur), present continuous, and time indicators to situate events 
  • Build vocabulary related to food, cooking, quantities, utensils, and important yearly moments 
  • Explore French meal composition, key annual events, and culinary culture
