German Level 2 (A1) is designed for learners who have completed a Beginner course or studied German for at least 12 hours. If you are unsure of your level, we recommend taking a placement test or contacting our Foreign Language Department. 

Classes are held in Covent Garden and taught by qualified, experienced teachers. 

Classes at IH London are dynamic and interactive as the emphasis is on spoken communication. Lessons are primarily taught in German and include interactive activities like group work and role-plays to boost confidence and fluency. Our courses help you use German in everyday situations, while building core skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
