Gentle Korean Level 2 takes you into everyday situations. You’ll learn to name the things around you, from stationery to daily essentials, and ask for what you want in a shop. 

You’ll also meet Korean verbs for the first time, using the standard polite ending -아요/어요 to talk about what you’re doing. Along the way you’ll learn how to say what there is and isn’t, and how to link nouns together. 

With longer afternoon sessions, there’s plenty of time for role plays, so asking for something in a Korean shop soon feels natural.

How is Gentle Korean different from your regular Level 2? 

The content and outcomes are the same. Gentle courses run for 14 hours over eight 1 hour 45 minute afternoon sessions, rather than 12 hours, so there’s more time for practice and review. 

Will the course follow the book exactly? 

Mostly, but not page by page. Your teacher will focus on the most useful content and may add other materials, adapting the pace to suit the group.

Korean Level 7 is an Elementary Korean course for students who are already in the process of learning Korean. Korean Level 7 requires that you have previously studied Korean Level 6 or a course of at least 72 class hours.
