Polish Level 2 (A1) is an Elementary course for students who have already completed a Beginners course. It is recommended that you have previously studied Polish Level 1 or a course of at least 12 class hours. If you’re unsure whether this level is right for you, we recommend contacting the Foreign Language Department, as a more suitable course may be available for you.
Our classes take place at our school in Covent Garden with qualified, experienced teachers.
Classes at IH London are dynamic and interactive as the emphasis is on spoken communication. Lessons are primarily taught in Polish and include interactive activities like group work and role-plays to boost confidence and fluency. – Use numbers from 100 to 1000 in practical contexts
– Talk about health, well-being, and personal states using appropriate vocabulary
– Use adjectives and adverbs correctly in context (e.g., Czuję się wspaniale)
– Apply the instrumental case with professions, nationalities, and common phrases with z (with)
– Conjugate verbs in the present tense for plural subjects
– Recognize and produce Polish sounds and intonation patterns more confidently
– Understand aspects of Polish work culture, food traditions, and everyday etiquette
