International House London announces new investment – in the same week British Council inspection results put IH London in the top 1% of language schools in the UK (access the British Council report by clicking here).
IH London is building on over 60 years of heritage and high teaching standards, with new senior appointments, new members of the sales and marketing team and a new investment of half a million pounds in its premises, all to become the number one school for customer experience.
IH London is investing in its location in Covent Garden, which comprises nine floors with a library, computer resource centre, executive lounge and 54 classrooms. The school was purpose built almost 12 years ago, when IH London moved from Piccadilly. The new large modern café on the ground floor was installed in the summer of last year, and the new works will see refurbishment and refresh of key areas across the school to provide the most welcoming space for students to learn.
Premises, facilities, learning resources and quality assurance are already points of strength for International House London in the British Council inspection, where they achieved 14 points in total out of a possible 15.
Two well-known and respected faces in the industry Greg Patton, Sales and Marketing Director, and Eleanor Maly, Director of Education, recently joined the senior team at International House London. Both have already made their mark and Greg has recruited some top talents from the industry to join his team.
In the sales team, new appointments include Sabrina Lan and Lawrence Jackson who both join for Asia, Laura Boscato who joins for Europe and Kamel Koufi who joins for MENA.
All have many years’ experience in the industry and will be familiar names to many agents. They strengthen the existing team headed up by Greg Patton.

One of the new academic initiatives for this year saw IH London become the first and only provider in Central London to offer face-to-face courses for the English language test for healthcare professionals, OET.
