Spring is in the air! As the days get longer, London is bursting with events and things to do so that you can enjoy the Spring sunshine. Here’s what you can try out for yourself this Spring in London:
Holi at the Cinnamon Kitchen (15-25 March)
Known for its colourful displays, Holi is a Hindu festival that celebrates Love, Colour and the coming of Spring. The Cinnamon Kitchen is home to a paint pod, where you can throw handfuls of rainbow powder with friends before enjoying their special menu, which you can find here.
Cherry blossoms at Kew Gardens (mid-late April)
Nothing screams Spring like blossom falling through the air. Kew Gardens is home to a row of Japanese Cherry trees, which form a spectacular pathway to its large greenhouse, Temperate House.
For the perfect day trip, after taking in the blossoms, you can explore the rest of the gardens, exhibitions and galleries. What’s more, young adults (aged 16-29) and students can buy tickets for as little as £9!
The London Coffee Festival (11-12 April)
Longer days call for more caffeine boosts, so why not explore over 250 artisan coffee roasters to find your perfect brew. A £38 ticket also grants you access to performances taking place at the festival, and tasting sessions too!
Taking place at the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, this is great opportunity to take in the beautiful murals and graffiti East London has to offer to round out your day.
Histfest 2024 at the British Library (13-14 April)
If you love to travel back in time, why not do so with a weekend of discussion, performance and music at HistFest 2024, which is a unique festival celebrating and exploring world history. With day and weekend passes available, you can enjoy the entire weekend, or look out for your favourite authors, like Angela Saini and Brian Cox.
