For clarity, the cost of a CELTA course is broken down into two parts:
1.The CELTA course fee (£1,747) is the fee for taking the course at IH London, inclusive of all materials and tuition.
2.The Cambridge fee (£186) goes towards the qualification body, Cambridge.
Both fees are payable to IH London.
BUT, if you book your course within 10 days of receiving a course offer, we will pay the £186 Cambridge fee for you. So, get organised and save money!

Your guide to CELTA
The CELTA focuses on the principles of effective English language teaching using the communicative approach. This is reflected in the tasks we ask our trainees to do with their students, and also in the way that we deliver our training during input sessions.
Throughout the course, candidates can expect to participate in group work and are encouraged to be creative when designing activities for students.
