This course provides opportunities for teachers to explore different approaches to grammar teaching and apply their knowledge of the English grammatical system to the evaluation and design of effective, learning centred teaching materials, lesson plans, syllabuses and tests.
To help you take a strong position, we will explore different theories of language learning and teaching and look at how current approaches to language teaching influence materials. In general, the course aims to develop a principled and research driven approach to the design of grammar focused materials and courses, both published and self-made.
