Your teacher will be assigned to you based on your profile and needs. We can share profiles of our teachers with you so that you can have an idea of their backgrounds and the type of teacher you will have. All our teachers are highly qualified, with many holding the Delta or DipTESOL, a Masters level qualification in teaching English as a second or other language, with years of experience.

Although we would love for students to be able to choose their teacher before arriving at the school, this is not possible. Teachers are assigned to students based on the needs of the students, and trying to match up based on this. It is not necessarily possible to speak with a teacher before booking, but you can always arrange to speak with one of our academic team.

Our group courses have fixed prices based on the number of hours per week. However, our hourly rates vary for bespoke one-to-one lessons. You can find our hourly rates in the table below or by downloading our Dates & Fees brochure.

Sample Timetables

Lessons are based on the needs of the students. For example, someone preparing to take an exam would have a very different style of lessons compared to someone who is preparing to deliver a presentation at a conference. Also, the number of hours needed will vary depending on what a student’s objective is. For example, someone who is a beginner and has the goal of working in an English-speaking environment would need many more hours than someone starting as an intermediate level student.

If you would like to change your teacher then this can be done. Sometimes personalities do not align, and sometimes you might just want to experience a different teachers’ style, which is not uncommon.

Teachers can travel to locations away from the school. There would be an additional cost involved. Alternatively, we can arrange for online classes if that were more convenient.

Trial lessons is not something that we offer. We appreciate it is a commitment to book a course of lessons with us, however, we believe that by working with students before they begin their lessons we can help to ensure a positive experience and learning opportunities.

All of the information we receive through the various types of analysis we do prior to a student’s arrival is passed onto the teacher before your first lesson with them. However, it is only once you meet your teacher that you will be able to develop a full plan to work towards with your teacher.
