In light of the EU referendum we are happy to announce that International House London is continuing its courses as normal.
We are just as surprised at the UK’s choice to vote out of Europe as you might be. Whilst we are not sure what this means long-term for students coming to the UK, it is unlikely that any real difference will be made in the next couple of years. The majority of London residents voted to remain in the EU, and our ethos here at IH London is to promote multiculturalism and cultural diversity.
Short-term, however, the Pound Sterling has weakened considerably, making it cheaper to come to the UK for a course.
Whilst economists think that this is temporary, it is a great chance for students to book and pay for their course now, whether for English courses, Teacher Training or Young Learners courses.
With the summer in full swing, there is so much to see and do in London throughout July and August:
- Wimbledon Tennis Championships
- Hampton Court Palace Flower Show
- London Wonderground
- Udderbelly Festival
- Notting Hill Carnival
- Trafalgar Square Big Screens
- The Proms
- Buckingham Palace Tours
- London Fashion Weekend
- Wireless Festival
